Although I've only just turned 30, I seem to have had many years of middle-aged Daily Mail-esque bile about the collapse of society represented through the degradation of language in the form of text speak already. However, I've just realised that I'm completely guilty of this myself - in fact probably a far greater crime because of its lack of any meaning at all, rather than the fairly informative "lol". My new word, my favourite of the day is "InterpCrvonSrf".

I'm not sure I can finish off an amusing text with that, or whether it is worth putting 15 exclamation marks after it, but it has completely helped me out today. Worth its weight in GOLD, m8. LOL!

Dammit!

Just as I was abandoning the media tech age, I discovered TinEye

Finally! I know what I'm going to try and do!

I've been stewing for weeks about what my actual final design will be, and now, with 13 days until the final hand in date, I've just figured it out. Literally nothing had jumped out and struck me as anything other than completely crap until I just went to get a bit of fresh air and have a walk around, after spending the entire day working on technology case study. Its amazing what a change of scene can do for you... that and not having any distractions (like facebook, blogspot, bbc sport, 4od, 6music, 5live, etc etc...)

I am instituting a new regime. Media Blackout while working. Maybe put an album on my ipod, but the computer's got to be off unless I'm using rhino or something.
